Music in the mirror

子供時代、家には　大きな鏡が　ありました。　
　
母は　音楽が　好きでしたが、　楽器（ がっき ）を弾くことができません　でした。　
彼女は　よく　 音楽を　聞きました：　ラジオ、　　録音（ ろくおん）テープ　などです。

父は　電子技師でしたので、 家 の楽器は　いい音がしました。

母は　音楽を　聞きながら、鏡の前でコンダクターのまねをしました。
今日　私は　ピアノを　弾けながら、 鏡の前でコンダクターのまねをする
母を　思い出しました。

In childhood, my family house had a big mirror.

My mother loved music although she did not play an instrument. She always turned on music: by radio, tapes, and other devices.

My father was an electrical engineer and so the sound systems in our house were always very good.

Listening to music, standing briefly in front of the mirror, my mother would ecstatically play at conducting the orchestra.

Today, while playing piano, I remembered my mother’s conducting.
