日本の電車　に　ついて　お話します



１．　以前



私は　日本の電車に　よく　乗ります。　車がないし　仕事で　遠くへ　行かなかればならないからです。　車も電車も　どこかに　行くときに　使います。　 しかし　電車　は　うんてんる　必要　が　ありません。　電車は　こんでいるし、　あぶ ない　です。毒ガス　を　まく人いる　かもしれません。せきで 　かぜのウルス　がうつるかもしれません。



日本の電車に　まつわる　話は　たくさん　あります。一つは　山手線　の　中で　 ある父親　が　町に　住む　息子　に　合に　来て　車中で死にました。　もう一 つの例は　『点と線』　で、電車に　ついて　書いて　あります。
　



私は　日本に　来て　から　学校　と　会社　で　英語を　おしえていたので　毎日 東京の電車　に　乗って　いました。　地下鉄の色　を　覚えて、おりる 　場所　を　みつけました。　そして　 急行 　も　分りました。

Speaking of Trains

In Japan I ride trains a lot to get to places of work far away. Travel by car or train is needed. By train, one does not worry about driving. But trains can be crowded and dangerous. Perhaps a person has poison gas. Perhaps coughing and sneezing spreads virus.

There are many stories about trains in Japan. One story is about a man who visits his son in Tokyo and dies on the Yamanote Line, circling the city. Another story, Points and Lines, is a famous mystery.

When I came to Japan I taught English at schools and at companies. So every day I rode trains in Tokyo. I memorized the diagram of subway colors and could find the ideal exit points. And I learned by a frustrating circular experience to tell the difference between express trains and local trains.


２．今



日本に　１５年間　住んでいました。電車に　慣れました。　例えば、世界の多くの国では電車の路線をあらわすのに同じ色をつかいます。みどり、赤、オレンジ、青など。　東京とモス クワの地下鉄では同じ色が使われています。



電車では　乗りながら、寝れます. 気持ちが　いいのです。　しかし、隣の人が　私に　もたれかかるのは嫌い　です。その人は　起きて、また寝ます。

電車のなかで、　周囲一センチが　大切な場所です。　

あらゆる人の周囲には　いつも　その　小さい場所が　あります。電車　静かな所　です。　寝るために電車に　のるのだと思います。大荷物が　たくさん　あります。　学生は　荷物を体の　前に　もっています。　不便です。

Now I have been living in Japan for 15 years. I have become more accustomed to trains. For example, many cities worldwide use the same colors in diagrams of train routes: green, red, orange, blue. Tokyo and Moscow subway lines use the same colors.


I can sleep on trains. It is a delicious feeling. But I hate it when the person sitting next to me repeatedly nods off and jerks awake.

On the train, the one-centimeter envelope surrounding a person is very important. It is a small space. A person could ride a train in order to sleep, I think.

There are many big bags. Students put big bags in front of them on the floors. It is inconvenient.
